Detection Times in Urine Testing
Detection time estimates for urine drug screens are very broad. Many factors determine how long a particular drug can be detected in a person, including that person's age, weight, sex, metabolic rate, overall health, amount of drug consumed over what period of time, etc. No conclusions can be drawn as to when a particular drug was taken or how much was consumed with urine drug screens. Sunday is generally a good testing day for teens. If a test is positive and your teen will not provide details, more specific information can be obtained through lab testing, which can be done by or ordered through your child's physician.
